Bio



Julie Doxsee is a poet. She holds a PhD in English and Creative Writing from the University of Denver (2007) and an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.  Currently she lives and writes in Istanbul on the European shores of the Bosphorus, where since 2007 she has been teaching creative writing, academic writing, and literature courses at KoƧ University, a private university near the Black Sea.
